Objectives:

Define stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination.

Describe how each is potentially dangerous and can contribute to
conflict.

Identify strategies for dealing with prejudice-related conflicts.
• Stereotype -- A
mental image of a group based on opinion without regard
to individual
differences.
In
small groups, prepare a short dramatic play to represent the negative impact of
stereotypes in our daily life.
YOU
WILL BE GRADED INDIVIDUALLY ON YOUR PERFORMANCE. ALL
STUDENTS MUST SPEAK DURING THE PLAY.
